Maja studied law at the University of Amsterdam (LLM) and obtained a degree at the Grotius Academy for Corporate Law. She worked at the European Commission, Directorate Competition, and thereafter she has been working for several years as a corporate and (international) commercial lawyer in Amsterdam at a midsized law firm.
Maja is half Dutch and half Slovene, and therefore speaks both languages plus English and German. Further, she is a member of the Executive Committee of the SDBP, the International Business Platform of Slovenia.
